A Casey Family History

Letter from Jessie Eugene Veazey

This letter was written to Jessie's wife's sister and brother-in-law, and was intended to inform them of the circumstances of Nellie's death. Nellie's sister, Mattie Mae Scott was married to Will McDonald. The original letter is in my possession.

Transcribed as carefully as possible with all original spelling, omitted words and punctuation. "Unknown" substituted for words not legible.
