A Casey Family History

Genealogy Related Books I Own

I don't own a large library of research materials, but I do have a few little publications. It would be my pleasure to look up information for fellow "diggers" -- in fact, it's the least I can do since so many have extended me the same courtesy. I'll keep updating this page as the collection grows.

Just send an email to: admin@caseyfamilyhistory.com. Be sure and give me as much info as you can. These are all copyrighted materials, so I can't make copies, but I can share data and leads. If you'd like to know where to buy your own copy of these materials, I can forward that information on to you as well.

Published Surname Compilations:

  • Descendants of Amos and Sarah (Bivens) Hough of North Carolina and South Carolina c1760 - 1997 Published by Barbara Breece Roesch Copyright 1997
This is a remarkable work covering centuries of Hough generations. The work was published with the cooperation of Dr. Granville W. Hough and is thoroughly sourced and cited.

If you have a relative or ancestor who played High School football in East Texas in the mid 1950's, then I may have an article or two you might be interested in! My grandmother clipped everything during the years my Dad played football for Marshall High School! From Mount Vernon (yes, Don Merideth is in there!) to Shreveport, LA, she saved it all. Take a chance and send me a query...it would help if you knew the team your relative played for.
