Generation 3: Basil TRAIL & Barbara FRYER
My notes: The Biography of Barzillai Trail, provided by Eileen Watson, nearly conclusively proves the ownership of William Trail, Barzillai's father, by Basil and Barbara Trail. "Barzillai" is most certainly a derivation of "Basil". It is obvious to me that the slave, William Trail, named his son after his first master. Read Barzillai's Story
